Google Desktop Search

Outlook crashes upon exit if the Google Desktop Search Outlook plugin and SynQ 2.5 or higher are installed on your computer.
Workaround: After installing SynQ 2.5 or higher, you should disable the Google Desktop Search Outlook and Google Desktop Outlook Toolbar add-ins. To do so, complete the following steps:

  1. Within Outlook, choose Tools > Options.
    The Options dialog box displays.
  2. Click the Other tab.
  3. On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.

    The Advanced Options dialog box displays.
  4. Click Add-In Manager.

    5. The Add-In Manager dialog box displays.
  5. De-select (uncheck) Google Desktop Search Outlook Addin.
  6. Click OK to dismiss the Add-In Manager dialog box.
  7. In the Advanced Options dialog box, click COM Add-Ins.

    8. The COM Add-Ins dialog box displays.
  8. De-select (uncheck) the Google Desktop Outlook Toolbar add-in.
  9. Click OK to dismiss the COM Add-Ins dialog box.
  10. Click OK to dismiss the Advanced Options dialog box.
  11. Click OK to dismiss the Options dialog box.
