BlackBerry Devices Running BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2
There is a known problem with BlackBerry devices running BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2 (pre-Desktop Manager 4.2 Service Pack 1) software. If you have a device running this version and you upgrade to SynQ 2.5 or higher, you will encounter the following error message during the next synchronization:
Workaround: To prevent this error from occurring, install BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2 Service Pack 1 before upgrading to SynQ 2.5 or higher. If you've already upgraded to SynQ 2.5 or higher and encountered the error, simply upgrade to BlackBerry Desktop Manager 4.2 Service Pack 1.
Note: Once your system administrator upgrades your calendar server to SynQ 2.5 or higher, the next time you start Outlook you will be prompted to install the new version onto your PC.
